Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (UMSU) warmly welcomed Mr. Sylvain Lelong Lacroix, the newly appointed Vocational Instructor of Alliance Française Medan, in a courtesy visit aimed at strengthening international academic and cultural cooperation.
The delegation, which included Nur Hidayah and Ghea Panjaitan as Responsable Pédagogique, was officially received by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rudianto, M.Si, Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Cooperation, accompanied by representatives from the Office of International Affairs & Cooperation (OIC) and the Pusat Bahasa (Language Center) UMSU.
The meeting, held at Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara, took place recently as part of UMSU’s ongoing efforts to expand its global partnerships, particularly in the areas of language education and cross-cultural exchange.This engagement involved key institutional leaders and international partners, reflecting a shared commitment to enhancing academic quality, linguistic competence, and intercultural understanding among students and faculty members.
The visit was conducted to explore potential collaborations in French language instruction, vocational training, and cultural programs, while also reinforcing UMSU’s strategic agenda on internationalization.Through open and constructive dialogue, the meeting fostered an inspiring exchange of ideas, strengthened mutual understanding, and opened new horizons for future academic, linguistic, and cultural collaboration between UMSU and Alliance Française Medan.
