Prof. Dr. Agussani, M.AP, Rector of Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (UMSU), has been honored with the prestigious Best University Program Innovillage 2023 award in the category of Best Endorser. This recognition, which includes a trophy and a development grant of IDR 50 million, was bestowed by Prof. Dr. Adiwijaya, S.Si., M.Si, Rector of Telkom University (Tel-U), in a ceremony held at the UMSU Auditorium, Jalan Muchtar Basri No.3 Medan, on Friday, July 26.
The award highlights UMSU’s continuous innovation and creativity in the Innovillage program, a collaborative initiative organized by Telkom University since 2021. UMSU has demonstrated remarkable performance in this program, notably securing first place in the 2022 competition, which came with a prize of IDR 45 million.
During the award ceremony, Prof. Adiwijaya praised the exceptional enthusiasm and dedication of UMSU students in participating in the Innovillage program. He noted that their commitment and innovative spirit have significantly contributed to the program’s success and have set a high standard for other universities to follow.
