For Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (UMSU), attending an education fair is far more than simply fulfilling an invitation. Every encounter with the younger generation is a meaningful opportunity to broaden horizons, share knowledge, and illuminate possibilities for the future.
Upon an official invitation from the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Songkhla, Thailand, UMSU engaged directly with prospective students at La-Mae Samilae, Prince of Songkla University (Pattani Campus) during the Indonesia Education Fair 2026 on September 2–3, 2026. Through this event, UMSU is dedicated to opening doors of opportunity for Thai students to pursue quality higher education and shape a bright future in Indonesia.
The fair provided a strategic platform to showcase UMSU’s academic programs, scholarship pathways, and international study opportunities. Visitors and prospective students engaged directly with the delegation through booth exhibitions, alumni experience-sharing sessions, academic presentations, and vibrant Thai-Indonesian cultural performances.
Representing UMSU in opening these academic pathways were Taufik Hidayat, S.S., S.H., M.H., Vickri Febrian, S.Kom., and Nazli Auliya, S.M. The delegation was also warmly accompanied by Shofeeya Cheeso, a proud UMSU alumna originally from Thailand, who shared her real, inspiring experience of academic growth and student life in Indonesia.
Choosing a university is never just about finding a place to study—it is about discovering an environment to grow, build lifelong networks, gain broader experiences, and prepare for tomorrow. Through interactive booth exhibitions, program presentations, and alumni sharing sessions, UMSU is ready to welcome Thai students on their journey toward global success.
