The Doctoral Program in Management of Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (UMSU) participated in a Sit-In Class at INTI International University as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance global academic exposure and industry-relevant learning. This academic activity represented a transformative learning experience that connected doctoral education with contemporary global economic developments.
The session was warmly welcomed by Associate Professor Dr. Chan Kait Loon, Pro Vice-Chancellor for Student Experience and Infrastructure Management, and was led by Professor Dr. Sam Toong Hai, Director of the International Relations and Collaborations Centre. The discussion focused on the theme “Bridging Academia and Industry: Practical Applications of AI in the Global Economy,” providing participants with valuable insights into the role of artificial intelligence in modern business and economic systems.
The Sit-In Class was conducted to deepen participants’ understanding of practical AI applications across industries and to strengthen the integration of academic knowledge with real-world business practices.
