Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (UMSU) held an International Visiting Academic and Public Lecture program with the theme ‘Innovation and Creativity in Youth Empowerment,’ on Friday (19/7) at the UMSU Auditorium, Jalan Muchtar Basri No.3 Medan.
UMSU Rector, Prof. Dr. Agussani, MAP, opened the event and warmly welcomed the distinguished guests from Malaysia, namely the Director of TBA SDN BERHAD, Dato’ Tajudin Bin Ahmad, and the Director of the Malaysian International Youth Centre, and Adjunct Professor at the Faculty of Leadership and Management, Islamic Science University of Malaysia (USIM), Dr. Mohamed Maliki Bin Mohamed Rapiee.
During the occasion, Dato’ Tajudin encouraged the UMSU students in attendance. He stated that only Allah SWT knows about someone’s future, and that we must care and do good to one another.
“I see the students’ shining faces here. We are in the right place and country. Make this campus your second home, because we learn so much here. “UMSU is lucky to have a leader like Rector Agussani,” stated Dato’ Tajudin
