Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (UMSU) successfully held an engaging and insightful Sharing Session themed “Lead Today, Shape Tomorrow: Insights from Professionals” on April 14, 2026, at the UMSU Rectorate Building, 2nd Floor.
This event brought together distinguished speakers from the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) network, including Morgan Fagioli, an IVLP Officer , alongside notable alumni and professionals such as Tonggo Simangunsong (Senior Journalist, Chairman of Alliance of Independent Journalist (AJI) Medan) , Rafiqah Rizky (Head of International Office at
Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara), and Ibrahim (Lawyer/Supervisory Board of SAHDAR
(Advocacy Center for People’s Basic Right))
The session served as a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange, where speakers shared valuable perspectives on leadership, global collaboration, professional growth, and the importance of cross-cultural understanding in today’s interconnected world. Participants, consisting of students and academic members, were given the opportunity to gain first-hand insights from experienced practitioners across various fields.
