
Machang, November 10, 2025 – Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (UMSU) conducted a benchmarking visit to Universiti Teknologi MARA Cawangan Kelantan (UiTMCK), Malaysia. The visit aimed to strengthen academic relations and explore potential strategic collaborations in the fields of economics, research, and student exchange.

The UMSU delegation was led by Dr. Muhammad Andi Prayogi, S.E., M.Si. (Head of the Development Economics Study Program), accompanied by Dr. Sylvia Vianty Ranita, S.E., M.Si. and Masta Sembiring, S.E., M.Ak. Meanwhile, UiTMCK was represented by Dr. Md Khairu Amin Ismail, Dr. Azmahani Othman, Dr. Azwan Shah Aminuddin, Puan Fadhilah Mohd Ishak @ Zainudin, and the academic team.
During the visit, both institutions discussed potential collaboration in joint research projects, indexed journal publications, and student exchange programs to broaden academic and cultural perspectives.This benchmarking visit marked an important step in strengthening bilateral cooperation between UMSU and UiTMCK, paving the way for sustainable academic synergy in the future.
