As a follow-up to the Memorandum of Understanding signed between Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara and Multimedia University Malaysia, UMSU carried out an official academic visit to MMU’s campus in Cyberjaya.
The UMSU delegation was represented by Ridho Irawan, S.E., M.Si., Head of Industrial Linkage, and Taufik Lubis, S.H., M.H., Head of Legal Division. The visit aimed to discuss concrete steps for implementing the cooperation agreed upon in the MoU, particularly in the areas of academic programs, joint research, student and faculty exchange, and industrial linkage.
During the meeting, both institutions exchanged ideas on developing strategic programs that can enhance the quality of education and prepare graduates to be globally competitive. The discussions also covered opportunities for collaboration in curriculum development, innovation, and community service initiatives that align with the vision of both universities.
This visit marks an important milestone in strengthening the partnership between UMSU and MMU. It is expected to open wider opportunities for UMSU students, lecturers, and staff to gain international exposure and experience while building a sustainable collaboration with one of Malaysia’s leading universities in technology and communication.
