The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (UMSU) successfully organized an inspiring international sharing session featuring Julia Marbot, an internship student from Alliance Française Medan, France, on June 4, 2026.
Carrying the theme “French Language and Cultural Insights in a Global Context,” the session provided International Class students with valuable firsthand perspectives on French language learning, cultural diversity, intercultural communication, and global engagement. Through interactive discussions and cultural exchanges, participants gained deeper insights into how language serves as a bridge for international collaboration and cross-cultural understanding.
This activity reflects UMSU’s ongoing commitment to internationalization by creating meaningful opportunities for students to engage with global perspectives and build intercultural competencies essential for success in an increasingly connected world.
