The Faculty of Economics and Business, Muhammadiyah University of North Sumatra (FEB UMSU) visited the Faculty of Economics and Management Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (FEP UKM) on Friday (2/8) at the FEP UKM Selangor Hall, Malaysia.
The visit to the two FEB UMSU and PK IMM is an effort to strengthen the commitment and collaboration that has existed between the two parties, including student mobility programmers and commodity services.
Deputy Dean of FEP UKM Prof. Madya Dr. Muhammad Hakimi Mohd Shafiai, on this occasion, said that he would plan to create an agenda for Community Service and Student Mobility activities which would be strengthened by both faculties.
Meanwhile, Deputy Dean III FEB UMSU, Dr. Hasrudy Tanjung S.E., M.Si congratulated FEP UKM for opening an UKM branch in Qatar. He also emphasized FEB UMSU’s strong commitment to joining and collaborating in MIICEMA (Malaysia-Indonesia International Collaboration On Economics).
“This collaboration will make FEB UMSU automatically included in the campus and industrial internationalization network owned by FEP UKM,” he said.
Meanwhile, Prof. Intermediate. Dr. Abu Hanifah Bin Ayob as chairman of the Center for Global Commerce & Digital Economy Studies welcomed the arrival of FEB UMSU students and was willing to collaborate in various programs that will be implemented, Student Mobility Program, Community Service Projects, and Visiting Lecturer.
Then, Ammar Fizuddin bin Abi Talib representing FEP UKM gave a lecture to FEB UMSU students. He told the history of FEP UKM and explained how UKM was able to become the Best University in Malaysia.
At the end of the meeting, FEB UMSU AND FEP UKM exchanged souvenirs as a sign of the strong academic relationship between the two leading universities.
