Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (UMSU), Indonesia, warmly welcomed a delegation from Chosun University, South Korea, for an engaging Cultural Exchange Program aimed at strengthening mutual understanding and friendship through cultural appreciation.
The event featured a variety of cultural performances and interactive activities that showcased the rich traditions of both countries. Participants experienced traditional dances, authentic Indonesian and Korean cuisine, and other cultural exhibitions, creating a lively atmosphere of learning, respect, and cross-cultural dialogue.
The delegation was represented by Somyung Kang from the International Exchange Division of Gwangju Metropolitan City, who was officially welcomed by Abdurrahman Zuhdi, M.I.Kom, Head of the Bureau of Student Affairs, Alumni, and Cooperation at UMSU, together with the Office of International Affairs & Cooperation (OIA&C) team.
Through this cultural exchange, UMSU and Chosun University reaffirmed their shared commitment to fostering international collaboration, promoting intercultural understanding, and creating meaningful global learning experiences for students and academic communities. The program reflects UMSU’s ongoing dedication to expanding its international partnerships while celebrating the diversity that connects people across borders.
