Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (UMSU) had the honor of welcoming distinguished entrepreneurs from New Zealand, Sheikh Dr. Reza Abdul-Jabbar and his wife, Ustadzah Ummu Khadijah Peggy Melati Sukma, S.Sos., M.H., for an insightful sharing session on large-scale agriculture and livestock management.
During the visit, the guests shared valuable experiences in managing over 1,000 hectares of agricultural and livestock enterprises, providing practical insights and strategic recommendations to UMSU’s Faculty of Agriculture. The discussion focused on sustainable farming practices, agribusiness development, and opportunities for innovation in the agricultural sector.
The visit also opened promising prospects for future collaboration between UMSU’s Faculty of Agriculture and the agribusiness ventures led by Sheikh Dr. Reza Abdul-Jabbar, strengthening international partnerships and creating new opportunities for academic and industry engagement.
