International students from Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (UMSU), in collaboration with the Honorary Consul of Thailand, provided essential humanitarian aid to disaster-affected communities in Aceh Tamiang Regency. The initiative was officially launched by UMSU’s Head of Student, Alumni & Cooperation Bureau, Director of International Affairs & Cooperation, and the Thai Honorary Vice Consul, emphasizing cross-cultural solidarity and rapid disaster response.
This partnership strengthens UMSU’s position as a hub for international collaboration while highlighting Thailand-Indonesia diplomatic ties at the community level. The successful initiative serves as a model for future joint humanitarian efforts between academic institutions and diplomatic missions, proving the effectiveness of multicultural rapid response in meeting urgent community needs post-disaster.
