The Faculty of Economics and Business of Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (FEB UMSU), in collaboration with Universiti Teknologi MARA Cawangan Kelantan (UITMCK), successfully organized a Virtual Teaching Collaboration for the course State Finance – State Financial System: Comparison of Malaysia and Indonesia. The activity brought together lecturers and students from both institutions in an interactive online academic session aimed at enriching cross-country perspectives on public finance.
The session featured distinguished speakers Eka Nurmala Sari from UMSU and Nik Zam Nik Wan from UITMCK, who delivered insightful presentations on the structure and management of state financial systems in Indonesia and Malaysia. Through comparative discussions, participants gained a deeper understanding of fiscal governance, financial policy frameworks, and the similarities and differences in public financial management practices between the two countries.
This collaborative initiative served as a platform for academic exchange and international learning. By connecting scholars and students from both universities, the program fostered meaningful dialogue, broadened global perspectives, and strengthened academic cooperation between FEB UMSU and UITMCK in the field of state finance and public financial systems.
