Director OIC Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (UMSU), Rafieqah Nalar Rizky, M.A, successfully participated in the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) in STEM, a prestigious professional exchange program sponsored by the U.S. Department of State. The three-week program took place from September 14 to October 4, 2025, across four major U.S. cities: Washington D.C., Milwaukee (Wisconsin), San Antonio (Texas), and Seattle (Washington State).
Throughout the 21-day program, IVLP awardees engaged in a series of meetings, discussions and institutional visits aimed at strengthening collaboration and innovation in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). Participants visited more than 14 universities/colleges and several leading companies, exploring best practices in STEM education, research, and community engagement.
