In an inspiring demonstration of academic collaboration, four esteemed lecturers from Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) visited Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (UMSU) to share their expertise with UMSU faculties. This engagement served to solidify the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two institutions, fostering a deeper partnership and knowledge exchange.
Simultaneously, ten UniMAP students participated in an enriching exchange program hosted by UMSU’s Faculty of Social and Political Science. During this program, the students engaged in various academic and cultural activities, enhancing their understanding of Indonesian society and building strong interpersonal connections with UMSU students and faculty members.
Further advancing interdisciplinary collaboration, a joint innovation project was initiated between eight lecturers from UniMAP and UMSU. Together, they co-created AI-powered chatbots aimed at enhancing academic excellence. This initiative exemplifies the commitment of both institutions to leveraging technology for improved educational outcomes.
These activities highlight the mutual dedication of UniMAP and UMSU to academic innovation and cross-border collaboration. By combining expertise and cultural insights, both universities continue to create impactful initiatives that benefit students, faculties, and the broader academic community.
