On Saturday, October 19, 2024, UMSU warmly welcomed a delegation from Phatnawitya Yala School, Thailand. The visit was warmly welcomed by UMSU, attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, the Head of the Office of International Affairs and Cooperation and the team.
The visiting group included Ustadz Ilyas Harahap, S.Ag, S.H (Head of SMP Muhammadiyah Ahmad Dahlan Aekkanopan) and Cekgu Suffian Mama (teacher from Phatnawitya Yala School), and 26 students from Phatnawitya Yala School.
The discussion involved a Q&A session about the opportunities for students to continue their studies at UMSU and the scholarships which provided by UMSU. Additionally, Thai students who currently studying at UMSU shared their experiences and impressions of their time here.
This activity was also attended by students from Faculty of Law who had previously carried out KKN in Phatnawitya Yala School.
