The Doctoral Program in Management of Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (UMSU) actively participated in a Sit-In-Class Research Methodology Workshop held at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). This academic activity focused on Bibliometric Analysis as a strategic approach to strengthening mastery of Systematic Literature Review (SLR) among doctoral candidates.
The workshop was attended by doctoral students from UMSU and facilitated by Associate Professor Dr. Abu Hanifah Ayob, a distinguished scholar with extensive expertise in research methodology. Through comprehensive presentations and interactive discussions, participants gained deeper insights into systematic techniques for mapping scientific literature, identifying research trends, and developing evidence-based research frameworks.

This Sit-In-Class initiative was conducted with the objective of enhancing the academic and methodological competencies of doctoral students, particularly in producing rigorous, structured, and high-impact literature reviews. The program also aimed to foster critical thinking skills, encourage methodological rigor, and promote academic excellence within an international learning environment.
The session was carried out through dynamic academic engagement, characterized by active dialogue between the facilitator and participants. Such interaction not only enriched methodological understanding but also strengthened international academic networking and inspired potential cross-institutional research collaboration.
Through participation in this Sit-In-Class program, the Doctoral Program in Management UMSU reaffirmed its commitment to improving doctoral education quality, advancing research capacity, and expanding sustainable international academic collaboration.
