Strengthening its international network while making a meaningful contribution to society, the Master of Accounting Program of Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (UMSU) conducted a collaborative institutional visit and community engagement program at ANGKASA on 4 June 2026.
The activity involved 15 lecturers and 18 students from UMSU as part of the university’s ongoing efforts to enhance international collaboration in the areas of education, community empowerment, and cooperative development. The UMSU delegation was warmly received by Datuk Seri Dr. Abdul Fattah Abdullah, President of ANGKASA.
Through this initiative, UMSU and ANGKASA exchanged insights, knowledge, and best practices in cooperative development and community empowerment. The community engagement program also provided a valuable platform for lecturers and students to apply their academic expertise in an international setting, fostering cross-border learning and collaboration.
This visit is expected to serve as a strategic milestone in strengthening institutional relations between UMSU and ANGKASA, while creating broader opportunities for future collaboration in support of building competitive, inclusive, and sustainable communities.
