Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (UMSU) officially established strategic partnerships with several Regional Government Organizations (OPD) of the North Sumatra Provincial Government through the signing of Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), reaffirming its commitment to advancing education, research, community service, and human resource development.
The collaboration was highlighted during a seminar and the MURI Record-breaking event organized by LLDIKTI Region I North Sumatra, which brought together higher education institutions, government agencies, and stakeholders to discuss innovation and the future of education.
On this occasion, UMSU Rector shared the university’s experience and achievements in implementing International Classes, emphasizing UMSU’s efforts to enhance global competitiveness, international academic collaboration, and student mobility programs. The presentation provided valuable insights into how higher education institutions can prepare graduates to thrive in an increasingly interconnected world.
Through this partnership, UMSU and the North Sumatra Provincial Government aim to strengthen cooperation in academic development, research initiatives, professional training, policy support, and community empowerment programs.
