Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (UMSU) participated in the prestigious European Higher Education Fair (EHEF) 2024, held at the French Ambassador’s residence in Jakarta on November 1, 2024. The event, which started at 7:00 p.m., was attended by representatives from leading universities across Indonesia, along with 16 renowned universities from France focused on engineering, business, and finance.
The EHEF 2024 was officially opened by Mr. Laurent Legodec, the Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of France in Indonesia. In his opening remarks, he stated that the event aimed to strengthen cooperation between higher education institutions in France and Indonesia. He highlighted the significant potential for educational collaboration, noting the high interest of Indonesian students in participating in student mobility programs and pursuing further studies in France.
This event also served as an essential platform for Indonesian universities, including UMSU, to build international networks and explore academic cooperation opportunities with French universities. EHEF 2024 is expected to broaden opportunities for Indonesian students, particularly at UMSU, to access quality education in Europe and to open up further possibilities for cultural and academic exchanges
